Managing existing users and creating new ones is very simple in the Augury platform. Follow these steps to ensure users have the right access to the information they need to take Auguscope recordings and view the results. If you created a new user, you may want to sign the user up for the 1.5 hour self-guided video training. Learn how to easily enroll users in the training.
Managing Existing Users
Log in to the web platform at Augury.com and select Users from the main navigation on the left side of the screen. Here you'll see the list of users at or below your level of hierarchy.
- Use these options to filter just the users you need to see.
- Sort by any column header in ascending or descending order.
- Hover over any user to edit or delete. Remember, deleting a user will not remove any machine that they have created or recording they have done on a machine.
You will have the ability to edit any information about a user except for the email. Role selections will be limited to any level of hierarchy at or below your level. For example, if you are a Market Manager, you won't be able to adjust a Technician to the level of Company Analyst, but you could make them a Building or Facility Manager.
Role hierarchies exist in this structure:
- Company Manager/Analyst
- Zone Manager/Analyst
- Market Manager/Analyst
- Facility Manager
- Building Manager
- Facility Manager
- Market Manager/Analyst
- Zone Manager/Analyst
Creating New Users
To create a new user locate the + New User button in the top right corner of the Users page and make the appropriate selections on the form.
User Hierarchy and Notifications
System roles vary in hierarchy and scope. Company, Zone, and Market roles have options for manager or analyst. You may also select Facility or Building Manager or Technician. Each selection gives access to the hierarchical information below it. Technicians are connected to the market level allow access to any information needed to record machines and review diagnostic data for any facility, building, or machine in the market.
Notifications of Machines and Hierarchies may be identified on equipment being monitored by Halo, our continuously monitored sensor offering. These selections don't apply to Auguscope recordings.
Additionally, most of the Notifications for Update Type apply to Halo-monitored machines. However, Send me visit reports (Scope only) is important for Augucope machines. Selecting this will send auto-generated emails after each visit. For example, a Zone Manager who makes this selection will receive reports for all visits performed in that zone. Technicians will receive the reports on the machines they record on regardless of if this selection is made or not. A Technician who has selected Send me visit reports (Scope only) will receive all visit reports for that market (not just the machines that user has recorded).
