When you are at a facility, we highly recommend that you take vibration measurements for the critical machines as often as possible.
The first time you take measurements on a machine, you will need to create the machine in our system, either on the web dashboard or in the Auguscope App.
Creating the machine sets the parameters for what level of vibration is expected and identification of the bearings where the readings need to occur.
After the machine has been entered into Augury's system, you can take a new reading. Learn more about taking readings here.
Once you are done taking a reading, you will see a preliminary health status for that particular machine. Augury categorizes machines into 4 status’.
Acceptable indicates all looks good. Monitor is a machine you need to keep an eye on. Alarm indicates there is a need to schedule a repair. Finally, Danger indicates the machine needs fixed in the near future.
Once your session is complete, you will submit the information you've gathered to Augury where it It will be run through our AI and Algorithms for a more detailed analysis. Once Augury gets a full look at the data collected, we will send a report that outlines the specifics of what was found and include suggested next steps to take.
