Based on customer feedback, the Augury team has added new capabilities to the platform in order to provide greater visibility into IoT status and updates. These new capabilities include:
- Icons and Tooltip Explanations for IoT alerts related to both endpoints, nodes, and routers
- On-demand IoT Hardware Report
Platform updates and addressing IoT concerns are part of Augury’s ongoing commitment to providing customers with robust and effective Machine Health programs.
IoT Icons and Tooltip Explanations:
IoT alerts are visible within the platform through icons located on the Building Breakdown dashboard and the Machine page. The exact issue for each alert can be accessed via the icon’s tooltip.
How it Works:
1. View IoT status alerts and explanations on the Building Breakdown dashboard
a. Access the Building Breakdown through the Company page.
b. A yellow wifi icon under the last recorded column indicates an IoT alert. Hover over the icon to access a tooltip explaining the specific issue.
2. View IoT status alerts and explanations on the Machine page
a. Yellow wifi icons indicating an IoT alert will populate in the top bar of the relevant Machine page. Hover over the icon to access the tooltip explaining the issue.
b. Yellow wifi icons and tooltips will also populate within the machine information and under IoT devices.
The On-demand IoT Hardware Report:
In addition to receiving the IoT weekly email that includes a summary and detailed .csv outlining all disconnected or faulty IoT devices, Augury customers can now generate that same report on-demand.
The on-demand report captures information on the following items:
a. EP not sending data
b. EP drained battery
c. EP low battery
d. Node offline
e. Router offline
How it Works:
1. Generate the IoT Hardware Status Report with two simple clicks
a. Select the ellipses from any page within the hierarchy of your machine health platform.
b. Request the email report by clicking again on the Generate IoT report option.
2. The system will inform you that the IoT Report has been successfully sent to your email address on file.
